London city stays & theatre breaks for every style and budget!
Whether you are escaping for a romantic weekend, treating the family, or planning a theatre-filled escape with friends, London is one of those cities that always delivers. From world-famous landmarks and West End shows to hidden neighbourhood gems, you can tailor a London break to suit every travel style and standard of hotel. As your personal Travel Counsellor, I can help you choose the right area, the right standard of hotel, and the right experiences so you get the very best from your time in the capital. I have stayed in London so many times and it is definitely my favourite city in the world!

Choosing your London base: from great-value to luxury …. London’s neighbourhoods each have their own character, and the style of hotel you choose will really shape your stay.
If you want to be close to the action without stretching the budget, there are plenty of comfortable 3* style hotels that give you a great base while you are out exploring. These hotels are perfect for shorter stays, first-time visits or families who want to spend more of their budget on experiences rather than the room.
If you enjoy a little more comfort, 4* hotels offer a step up in style, service and facilities without necessarily being out of reach. I have some lovely hotels around Covent Garden & the Strand, popular with theatre lovers with a short walk to the West End, Trafalgar Square and the River Thames or around the South Bank & Waterloo, some with rooftop bars. These are ideal for romantic weekends, theatre breaks or celebrations where you want that little extra luxury.
Or for a truly memorable London escape, I have some amazing 5* hotels, including The Savoy for an iconic, old-world London experience with theatre and the Thames on the doorstep, The Dorchester, for ultra-luxury, fronting Hyde Park and surrounded by Mayfair’s designer boutiques and galleries or the Corinthia London for modern-luxe with a superb spa. This hotel is very central for Trafalgar Square, Westminster and the South Bank, so great for mixing culture, river walks and theatre. If you are celebrating a special birthday, anniversary or just feel like treating yourself, a luxury London stay can be the highlight of your year.

Must-see London attractions: No matter where you stay or which hotel standard you choose, there are some classic sights that fit beautifully into any London break.
Aswell as the most popular attractions in London including The London Eye, The Shard, Madame Tussauds, The London Dungeons and SEA LIFE London Aquarium you can take a boat trip down the Thames or jump on one of the hop-on, hop-off bus tours.

London is home to some of the world’s best museums & galleries, many with free general admission!
For ‘Royal London’ explore the city’s royal heritage with visits to the iconic Buckingham Palace or The Tower of London and other landmarks, or simply enjoy a stroll through the royal parks nearby.

If you visit London at Christmas time you can ice skate at Somerset House or look at the Christmas lights along Oxford Street and Regent Street.

The magic of London theatre: A London city break is the perfect excuse to experience the West End. Whether you love big-name musicals, thought-provoking drama or classic comedies, there is always something special on stage. Add some theatre tickets to your stay and turn a simple overnight visit into a memorable experience. I can book theatre breaks with tickets included for all of the most popular shows, musicals and plays.
I have stayed in
London so many times and have often included tickets to some of the best
musicals including Mamma Mia, Oliver, Grease, Sister Act, Dirty Dancing, Wizard
of Oz and so many more.

If you are thinking about a London break, whether it is a special celebration, a family treat or a quick escape, I would love to help you plan it.
