Mlini is the perfect location for some late Summer sun. My mum, siblings and I wanted somewhere that didn’t require a hire car and perfectly placed for a mixture of relaxing and exploring and Mlini certainly ticked all the boxes!

 We stayed at Mlini Villas and Apartments which boasts a wonderful beach front location just 20 minutes by road from Dubrovnik on one direction and Cavtat in the other. However, no wheels required as the regular water taxi will take you there in style – we loved being able to hop on a boat to enjoy the idyllic scenery and a spot of sun bathing whilst we glided along.

Mlini is located just a 20 minute hop from the airport and there’s a variety of accommodation offered – both of hotel and apartment style. We opted for 2 bedroom apartments – fully eqipped with a mini kitchen and balcony to enjoy the stunning views over the bay. Mlini itself is a small, tranquil town with a coastal walkway running through and a variety of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from – perfect for a short break.

The beach is wonderful with crystal clear waters – we loved swimming off the rocks before breakfast, which was served al fresco with a sea view, perfect.

A gorgeous short break in the perfect location – highly recommended!
