Disney at Easter!

Our Magical 4‑Day Escape to Disneyland® Paris
There is something truly special about stepping through the gates of Disneyland Paris. No matter how many times you visit, that first glimpse of Sleeping Beauty Castle, the sound of Disney Music and the smell of popcorn on Main Street USA brings so much excitement. I have just returned form a 4 day trip and wanted to share some of the magic with you, along with some personal tips that might help if you are thinking about planning a Disney Adventure.
We arrived full of excitement and decided to ease ourselves in gently on our first day. After checking in and dropping our bags, we headed straight for the Disneyland Park. Walking up Main Street U.S.A. towards the Castle is always a moment to savour, colourful shop fronts, vintage vehicles passing by and that perfect view of the pink turrets ahead. We took our time, grabbed a photo in front of the Castle and then headed for some gentler attractions to get into the spirit.
A few things that worked well on our arrival day, everyone is usually a little tired from travelling, so we didn’t over-plan. We chose shorter queues and family-friendly rides to keep the mood relaxed. Soak up the atmosphere instead of racing to the “big” attractions straight away, we wandered, browsed the shops and took lots of photos. It was lovely to simply be in the magic. Early dinner and early night, a sit‑down meal and a reasonably early bedtime meant we were ready to go for a full Disney day tomorrow.
Day 2! We started with an early entry into the Disneyland Park so we could enjoy some of the more popular attractions before the queues built up. This made such a difference, especially for rides that are “must‑do” for the family.
Classic Disney favourites from Peter Pan’s Flight and Pirates of the Caribbean to a spin on the teacups, we ticked off lots of iconic rides. Character moments we managed a few lovely character meet‑and‑greets which were a big hit. Having those photos and little interactions really added to the magic. We made time to stake out a good spot for the parade. The music, floats and characters passing by are a real “only at Disney” moment.
In the evening we stayed for the night time spectacular at the Castle, this is where the day truly ends with a wow, projections, music, fireworks, this is a genuine trip highlight.
Day 3 was our chance to explore Disney Adventure World and enjoy a slightly different Disney Atmosphere. This park has a more cinematic feel with areas themed around Pixar, Marvel and of course Frozen, amazing!
We also got to see the Micky and Magician show, highly recommended! Ending another day with the Cascade of lights show. This was simply incredible.
Our final day was a gentle goodbye to Disney.
We used the morning to revisit a couple of favourite attractions and take “last photos” in front of the Castle. We picked up any final souvenirs, enjoyed a last treat and simply took it all in. Leaving Disneyland Paris always feels a little bittersweet, but it is lovely to head home with amazing photos and videos, Special family memories, A head full of songs that will stay with you for days, And of course, talk turns quickly to “next time”!
If reading this has sparked your own Disney Day Dreams, I would love to help you create a trip that feels just right for you, I take care of the details so you can simply enjoy the magic.
