Family Villa in Corfu
Sleeps 12, Luxury Villa for all the family
Last week I travelled to Corfu with my family, where we stayed in a gorgeous villa called Nero Beach House with CV Villas. Having holidayed with CV before, we knew we were in safe hands in terms of quality and standards, but nothing could quite prepare us for the moment we opened the front door to this villa.

Space for everyone
The villa has six ensuite bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. We didn’t quite manage to fill it, but we gave it a good try! We were travelling with a nine‑week‑old baby, so we knew we would be spending a lot of time at the villa itself and comfort was a real priority.
Nero Beach House really delivered. I have a walk through reel that you can view here Villa Walk Through
There is:
- A huge infinity pool with plenty of sunbeds
- A pool table
- A cinema room
- A barbecue area
- Loads of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to spread out
Knowing there were enough sunbeds for everyone, and no need for early‑morning battles to reserve them, was such a relief.
Cool lower level: pool room, cinema room with 75” screen and plenty of seating and teenage hangout
On arrival I headed straight downstairs to explore the pool
room and cinema room, both located on the lower ground
floor. Because they are partially below ground, they stayed wonderfully cool
even in the heat of the day.
On this same level there is also:
- A laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and plenty of practical storage
- A separate bathroom and toilet handy for anyone using the cinema or pool area
- Two large double ensuite bedrooms with a high level window
This floor would be absolutely perfect for teenagers or older children who like to have their own space.
Ground floor: sociable heart of the house
You enter the villa on the ground floor, into a huge open‑plan space with:
- A well‑equipped kitchen
- A large dining area with a beautiful solid‑wood table seating 12
- A spacious living room with big TV and panoramic windows opening on to the patio and pool
The kitchen has an enormous fridge‑freezer and a handy tea, coffee and drinks station with a water cooler. You can arrange 20‑litre refills simply by calling CV Villas, which makes having chilled drinking water on tap incredibly easy.
From the kitchen you step out to a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, which quickly became my favourite spot:
- Large gas barbecue
- Gas hob, sink and an additional fridge
- Another long, solid‑wood dining table seating 12
- Table
tennis table for a bit of fun while the food is cooking

Being so close to the main kitchen was very convenient, and those in the group who like to show off their barbecue skills were in their element.
Also on the ground floor are two large double/twin ensuite bedrooms, both with doors that open directly on to the covered patio and pool area. There is also a separate large washroom on this level.
Upstairs: balcony views and peaceful bedrooms
On the upper floor there are two more large double/twin ensuite bedrooms. Both open onto a shared balcony overlooking the infinity pool and out towards the sea. It is a lovely spot for a quiet morning coffee or an evening drink once the sun has gone down.
Outdoor living & the infinity pool
Outside, the covered patio area has comfortable shaded seating, which was perfect for us with the baby, as we could stay close to the pool but still be out of the sun.
The infinity pool itself is a real highlight:
- Eight cushioned sun loungers around the pool
- Four plastic loungers set in the shallow water
- A shallow ledge where the loungers sit, ideal for cooling your feet and hands while you relax
- A consistent swimming depth throughout the main pool
- A separate shallow jacuzzi or children’s pool area
- Parasols that can be moved around to create shade where needed
Beyond the pool is a lawned garden, and beyond
that Kalimaki Beach and the sea. The views from the villa
stretch across the water to Albania.
We did need to be careful with mobile phones, as some handsets tried to connect to Albanian networks, which can be more expensive. CV Villas include clear information about this in the villa folder, and making sure “automatic network selection” is switched off is strongly advised.
Local area, food & evenings in
The little town of Kassiopi is only a few kilometres away where you will find shops and restaurants and has the nearest supermarket. They had a fantastic selection of barbecued meats, fresh fruit and salads.
We ate out on alternate evenings and ate in at the villa the rest of the time. Honestly, we loved eating in. It was so easy, and the barbecue meats from the supermarket were such good value. We had some absolutely delicious steaks and lazy evenings by the pool.
Support from CV Villas
The local CV Villas team were excellent. They popped in to visit and were always available on WhatsApp or phone if we needed anything.
The only minor issue we had all week was running out of gas for the barbecue. This was resolved within 15 minutes. The villa owner arrived promptly, changed the gas over and had us back up and cooking in no time. It was lovely to meet him, although unfortunately he did not want to sell us the villa for the price we could afford!
If you have clients who love villa living, outdoor space, pool days and easy family time, Nero Beach House in Corfu is a wonderful option, especially for larger or multigenerational groups who want comfort, facilities and beautiful sea views all in one place.
