When we started working with Travel Counsellors we weren’t sure that we needed a dedicated travel support. Now, almost two years on, we would be completely lost without them. Gary’s service has been an invaluable addition not only for our staff, but for our client offering too. As our requirements have increased, Gary’s efficiency and availability have been ever-present, and no matter what we’ve asked of him or how many times we’ve changed our needs, he always manages to find a workable solution. It’s not only saved us time, but money, hassle and stress too! His attitude and personable approach have made him part of our team, and although he isn’t an in-house resource, we always get the impression he has a genuine interest in making sure he finds us the best options.

Gary organised our trip for us and made recommendations for the flights and hotel. I'm every TC 's nightmare. Rough budget, no real idea where to go, asked for sunshine, not too far, near the sea, must have a balcony, must be near a bit of 'pottering' (you get the idea). Gary came up with 6 fully costed options - all based on personal travel experience - I don't think there is anywhere he's hasn't been or knows someone who has been. All quite different but all very tempting. His patience knows no bounds and I eventually picked one. I am delighted, excited and so very glad I haven't spent days (weeks?!) of my life dithering over various websites, not really trusting any of the pictures.... Fully armed with invaluable local knowledge, I pack my bags with confidence. A few months early admittedly.... In brief - No brainer. A real person, with years of experience. You won't regret it.

I would have scored 11 if that was an option. Attention to detail was great and super quick turnaround . Gary really listened to my requirements and found a fantastic holiday for me. Will use him again for my next holiday booking.

Gary’s experience in the travel industry really shows. He worked hard to find me the best deal, often coming back to me with a better one, saving me money, even though I had already been happy with the initial quoted price. He was patient when on several occasions I wanted to make changes to my itinerary. Me and my partner can’t wait for our trip to East Africa! I would recommend Gary to anyone looking to book a special trip.

During a trip to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina that I'd booked with Gary, I learned the value of a great travel agent. Gary knew that I would have to change airports in Buenos Aires (from the international airport to a smaller domestic airport on the other side of the city) and so he organised a seamless transfer and made sure the flight timings would work. Only when I arrived at my hotel in Bariloche did I find out that nearly everyone else flying to the conference I was attending had endured some hair raising experience getting across Buenos Aires to get to their internal flight on time, many of whom had to catch later flights - simply because they had used travel agents that didn't plan for this properly. Thanks to Gary's knowledge and thoughtfulness, I hadn't had to endure any of the chaos of the other delegates and I felt pretty relaxed and rested for the event. I'd highly recommend Gary for travel booking, particularly if you're going somewhere you've not been before! On top of that, he's just a thoroughly nice bloke. I can't imagine booking with anyone else.
