Why Disney Adventure World is perfect for a February half-term family break

Formerly Walt Disney Studios® Park, Disney Adventure World has been reimagined, giving families more to see, do, and immerse themselves in. New additions including World of Frozen, Adventure Way, and Adventure Bay sit alongside Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, making the park feel broader and more varied than ever.

At World of Frozen, families can step into the Kingdom of Arendelle, take a journey on Frozen Ever After, and see familiar faces, including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff. For younger Frozen fans in particular, it’s one of those parts of the park that is worth allowing time to simply wander through the picturesque surroundings. Selected Character Encounters use a Virtual Queue, so checking the Disneyland® Paris app during your stay can help you make the most of the experience.

Elsewhere, Adventure Way brings another family-friendly favourite with Raiponce Tangled Spin, inspired by Tangled. At Marvel Avengers Campus, the pace picks up with Super Hero experiences including Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, while Worlds of Pixar is home to much-loved attractions such as Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy.

The live entertainment throughout the day is not to be missed either. Mickey and the Magician and TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure are both good opportunities to sit down and enjoy some classic Disney storytelling, particularly with younger children. Then, as evening arrives, Adventure Bay becomes the setting for Disney Cascade of Lights, combining water effects, projections, drones, and fireworks in a spectacular finale to the day.

Make time for Disneyland® Park

With so much attention on Disney Adventure World, it would be easy to forget just how much there is still to enjoy at Disneyland® Park. This is the classic heart of Disneyland® Paris, where the walk down Main Street towards Sleeping Beauty Castle brings an unmistakable sense of excitement, whatever your age.

For younger families, attractions such as Peter Pan’s Flight, “it’s a small world”, and Pirates of the Caribbean are enduring favourites. Older children and adults can mix in bigger thrills like Big Thunder Mountain and Star Wars™: Hyperspace Mountain, while Disney Stars on Parade and Character Encounters add plenty of moments away from the rides.

In the evening, Disney Tales of Magic brings the day to a close at Sleeping Beauty Castle. As this and Disney Cascade of Lights are currently scheduled at the same time, staying for several nights has a real advantage: you can give each park its own evening rather than having to choose between the two.

A four-night, five-day stay gives families something that is often underrated at Disneyland® Paris: time. Rather than rushing between the two parks, you can dedicate a full day to each, return to the attractions everyone loved most, fit in more shows and Character Encounters, and leave room for a slower afternoon when younger travellers need it.
