I was trying to plan a trip to Disney land Paris for my twin daughter’s birthday surprise. I soon discovered how overwhelming all the accommodation and options were. This was my first time using Kemisha at Travel Counsellors, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. We had the most fantastic family trip to New York. Kemisha really took the time to listen to all of my wants and no-wants, and from that created a carefully considered shortlist of hotels. The hotel we stayed in was absolutely perfect — right in the centre of Manhattan but in a nice area, exactly what we were hoping for. She also selected flights that helped minimise jet lag for my 10- and 13-year-old, which made such a difference, and put together a fantastic itinerary. This included arranging tickets to a Knicks game as well as a Broadway show, both real highlights of the trip. On top of that, Kemisha offered brilliant guidance on what I could book directly myself, along with loads of helpful tips, from navigating the subway and ensuring I had the correct visa, to food recommendations. She even sent me pre-written luggage labels, which was such a thoughtful and useful touch. It’s been a while since I haven’t booked something direct myself, but using an expert made everything so much easier. I still got a really competitive price but didn’t have to do any of the hard work. Being able to speak in the evenings and at weekends also made the whole experience incredibly convenient.
