My name is Natalie Varley and I am a Travel Counsellor based in Kippax, Leeds. I have lived in this area for the past 18 years as it has a small friendly community and is within easy reach to Leeds City centre too.
I am married and I have two small children aged 8 and 4. We love spending time together as a family either going for long walks or taking a trip to the cinema.
Before I became a Travel Counsellor I worked in a very well known high street travel agency.
My passion for travel started with me leaving school and signing up to a youth training scheme and I continued my career over the next 20 years.
I worked full time in a branch but received training on the job which enabled me to gain my NVQ Level 2 & NVQ Level 3 in travel Geography and travel services.
In time I worked my way up to a Branch Manager and ran two branches successfully.
We were awarded Branch of the year, something I am extremely proud of.
I have travelled all over the world not only through work educational visits but also on some fantastic holidays. My all-time favourite destination is Orlando, Florida. I absolutely love Disney World and everything it has to offer. I also love to Cruise. I have been on some fantastic ships and visited some amazing places. What better way to enjoy a trip of a lifetime waking up in a different destination each morning.
What I love most about being a Travel Counsellor is the flexibility it allows me to work around my home life. I now have a great home and work-life balance that you don’t get anywhere else.
