Neill is great at his job... and additionally, he is a nice bloke, easy to chat with and have a laugh with... but he is always on call if things don't go to plan (which it rarely does, but he's a reassuring back-up if it does)

We visited Vietnam with the help of Neill our travel counsellor. He made the whole trip seem effortless. I have used Neill Hall from Travel Counsellors for the last 5+ years - basically when I recommenced travelling abroad with a friend (we are both widowed). Neill found the perfect holiday location/hotel and travel arrangements for us. Neill has been so patient and helpful while we have been deciding on the best plan for our holiday. We first spoke to him in July 2021 and have only just booked at the end of January due to us not being 100% on what we wanted and changing things around a bit. We have had an amazing holiday!! The flights were very good and the hotel in Cape Town excellent. Each of the trips were just what we wanted and the guides very entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the wine tasting! Our transfers and internal flights all went to plan. We are still getting over how amazing Pumba game reserve was, to sit on the patio and watch elephants pass by was stunning. All of the facilities there were incredible and the staff were lovely, especially our ranger Kelly. The food there was excellent and nothing was to much trouble. We got to see 4 of the big 5 ( we missed the leopard) and many more animals. The whole holiday was fabulous and will be remembered for many years to come, thank you so much for organising it for us.

Neill has been our Travel Counsellor for a number of years now. We do three overseas trips a year and Neill has always matched our aspirations with good value travel arrangements. More importantly, he is always on hand to fine tune the arrangements and iron out any bumps . He IS virtually on hand 24 hours a day if you are an apprehensive traveller.

Neill arranged our holiday in Barcelona - we had a great week. The flight times were perfect as we had 5 full days - and the sun shone bright for four of them. Our planned visits worked out really well and gave us the chance to get to most of the major sights - obviously the Segrada is spectacular but we love the whole city and will definitely make a return visit. We were pleased Neill offered the Novotel - 18th floor with views right across the city to the west and only the rooftop bar pool and gym above us. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I had made the right decision to have the breakfast - I can't think of a food choice that wasn't available! So all in all it was a great week - and we will definitely book with Neill again .

Flight good. Transfer both ways excellent. Hotel-room upgrade when we arrived(4th floor just been renovated.) Hotel breakfast-very good value and plenty of it. Location of hotel could not have been better. Pre booked day trip picked up on time and travelled in comfortable mini bus. This was a superb city break-short transfer from airport, great hotel location, helpful staff, lovely city. We did business with Neill for many years when he was tied to a high street chain of travel agents and we always found him and his team very efficient. He is now controlling his own business together with Travel Counsellors and it was a joy to book our recent holiday to Turkey through him. Throughout the year we take other breaks and we shall definitely be using Neill Hall and Travel Counsellors again.Thank you Neill and congratulations on doing such a fab job.

Neill has been a fantastic help to me. I have not travelled abroad for 8 years and he has helped me every step of the way. I have already recommended him to a few friends. His personal touch has also helped as i felt i could ring him any time. He put all my fears aside. Also being a very busy mum he has done most of the hard work for me. All he needs to add to his service is the packing!!!!

Neill was most supportive, helpful and courteous throughout. He went out of his way to calm my nerves as I am not a 'seasoned' traveller and was proving anxious about everything.He found an ideal flight from Birmingham to suit the requirements of our American friends whom we are meeting in Nice. I would recommend him to all of our friends and family. He would be my first option when seeking holiday or travel arrangements,and would certainly use his services again, should the need arise.
