Your South African adventure begins in Cape Town, where you’ll have time to enjoy the city’s most recognisable sights. Take the Table Mountain Cableway with Fast Track access for views across the city and coastline, then head into the Cape Winelands for a signature wine tasting. The included Cape Peninsula tour also takes you along Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve and Boulders Beach, where you can see African penguins close to the shore.

Next, you’ll follow the coast into the Garden Route, stopping in Swellendam before continuing to Knysna. In Swellendam, Schoone Oordt Country House offers a relaxed overnight stay, with time to enjoy its country setting and Conservatory restaurant. You’ll then spend two nights at The Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa on Thesen Island, a former power station with exposed brickwork, original industrial details, and views towards the Knysna Lagoon.

From Knysna, you’ll continue towards Gqeberha, where you’ll stay at Mantis No.5 Boutique Art Hotel before heading inland to Pumba Private Game Reserve. Your three-night stay includes morning and afternoon game drives, giving you plenty of opportunities to look out for elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. Between drives, you can enjoy the quieter pace of the reserve and take in the surrounding landscape.
