Your trip begins with a pre-cruise stay in Barcelona at Barceló Raval, perfectly placed near Las Ramblas for a first taste of the city before boarding Valiant Lady. Celebrate the start of your holiday with rooftop drinks overlooking the skyline before heading into the Gothic Quarter for tapas and late-night bars. Once on board, you’ll sail first towards Toulon, gateway to the French Riviera, where beach cafés, marinas, and Provençal markets bring a completely different pace to the trip.

Further along the itinerary, Livorno opens up the chance to spend the day in either Florence or Pisa, so you can experience Renaissance landmarks, long Italian lunches, or aperitivos in hidden piazzas. Then comes Ajaccio in Corsica, where colourful waterfront buildings, seafood restaurants, and nearby beaches give the sailing a more relaxed island feel before the energy builds again later in the voyage.
