One of the standout moments is your time spent in Avignon, once home to the popes and still one of the region’s most atmospheric cities. Beyond the medieval streets and historic architecture, the journey also weaves in Roman history and the landscapes that inspired artists, including Vincent Van Gogh, giving the trip far more variety than a straightforward cycling tour.

Food and wine naturally become part of the experience throughout the week. A highlight is visiting Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where you’ll have the chance to sample wines in the area where they’re produced, surrounded by vineyards stretching across the Provençal countryside. Meals throughout the trip balance active days on the bike with long lunches, local dishes, and relaxed evenings after riding.
