Sail the Greek Islands by private yacht

7 nights from £1,885 per person based on 2 sharing

Spend a week exploring one of Greece's most beautiful island groups on this small-group sailing adventure through the Sporades. Travelling between Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos aboard a catamaran, you'll spend your days swimming in secluded bays, wandering through traditional harbour towns, and enjoying long lunches by the water. With many of the best beaches and coves only accessible by boat, this is a completely different way to experience the Greek islands.
  • Your journey begins in Skiathos, the most lively of the Sporades islands. Beyond the bustling waterfront and maze of narrow streets, you'll find some of Greece's finest beaches, including Koukounaries Beach, famous for its golden sand and crystal-clear water. The town itself is full of laid-back tavernas, family-run bakeries, and waterside bars, making it the perfect introduction to life in the islands before setting sail.

  • Next, you'll cruise to Skopelos, an island known for its pine-covered hillsides, whitewashed villages, and slower pace of life. Spend time exploring Skopelos Town, where colourful shutters, stone pathways, and flower-filled courtyards create one of the prettiest settings in the Aegean. Fans of Mamma Mia! will recognise parts of the island, including the dramatic Agios Ioannis Chapel perched high above the sea.

  • From here, continue to Alonnisos, home to the largest marine protected area in Europe. The island feels wonderfully unspoilt, with quiet fishing villages, forest-covered slopes, and a coastline dotted with sea caves and remote bays. This is often the highlight of the trip, with days spent anchoring in places that larger vessels simply can't reach. Whether you're snorkelling in transparent water or enjoying a leisurely lunch on board, Alonnisos offers a side of Greece that feels far removed from the busier islands.

  • Throughout the trip, you'll stay on board the Catamaran 44, which offers a much more intimate experience than a traditional cruise ship. The Triple Bunk cabins are compact yet comfortable, featuring air-conditioning, private bathroom facilities, and practical storage for life at sea. Outside, spacious deck areas provide plenty of room to relax between stops, whether you're soaking up the sunshine, sharing drinks with fellow travellers, or enjoying the ever-changing views as you sail from one island to the next.
