I visited Minneapolis, the birthplace of the Minneapolis Sound I've adored since I was two years old. I toured Paisley Park, Prince's residence, and visited 1st Avenue, where much of Purple Rain was filmed. I also saw the St. Paul and Minneapolis Funk All Stars perform live and met St. Paul himself, who was involved in the Minneapolis Sound and starred in Purple Rain. My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was excellent, with friendly staff, good food, and great facilities. The booking and support process with Scarlett as my Travel Counsellor was exemplary!
