Hello, my name is Sharon and I would like to welcome you to my personal webpage. I am based in Bushey, Hertfordshire and have been helping my clients with their travel arrangements for almost 30 years.

I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to concentrate on giving my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice. To me travel is not a job, but a passion and having visited many places talking about them is a joy!

Early in my travel career I booked a lovely retired couple on a round-the-world trip. The itinerary I designed was so interesting, amazing sights to visit, first class hotels throughout that it inspired me to want to do the same! The following year I embarked on a similar journey visiting Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the Hawaiian Islands and America. I stayed in first class hotels and visited the places that up until that point I had only dreamt of. I returned home 11 months later with a ridiculously high credit card bill, but no regrets and I was now armed with a wealth of information, and amazing memories and stories that I would one day tell my children.

I honeymooned in Barbados, spent my first wedding anniversary in Jamaica, and have travelled to many places around the Globe as a single, couple and with my children.
I know the importance of keeping the whole family amused , the hotels must have excellent kids clubs and are either on, or very close to the beach with good food and first rate adult facilities so that I can unwind and enjoy too! My top 3 favourite Mediterranean destinations are Italy Portugal and Greece.

My career has taken me through all of the avenues that make up the travel industry, which include Retail High Street travel agencies, tour operating, Business Travel and even teaching Travel and Tourism at various London colleges.

As a Personal Travel Counsellor I can take this experience, together with the knowledge gained from the numerous countries in the world that I have visited, to offer a full comprehensive service for my clients both holidays and Business travellers.

Working as part of a network of independent travel consultants, I am not tied to selling one particular company’s holiday. In fact I have access to over four hundred companies. There is a unique system in place which no other travel agency or tour operator has access to, which enables me to book flights, accommodation and transfers separately - more often that not far cheaper than tour operator packages.
