Daragh took the time to chat through our needs and wants for our trip - what really mattered to us and what didn’t so much. He pulled together an itinerary that balanced free time and enough great sights and activities that meant we felt we got a really thorough and diverse experience of Amsterdam without feeling exhausted. It even pleased two teenage boys (tough crowd)! Everything from our accommodation to our bookings, tours and tickets were spot on and seamless. And bless him he was even keeping an eye on the flight schedules in case Storm Benjamin delayed our flight home (we were lucky and got home on schedule!) The app meant all the tickets and info we needed were on hand and easy to access. We have just arrived back from the most amazing safari and beach adventure in Tanzania. We decided to book the trip with Daragh Hanafin – Travel Counsellor, as we wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly, get the best advice on what to do and where to go and have the security of someone to contact, should there be any issues. I can certainly say, we were not disappointed! From our first chat with Daragh, we knew we had come to the right person. He was full of knowledge, patience and enthusiasm. We gave him a bucket list and he came back with an itinerary that we could never have imagined possible. After a few tweaks to meet our timescale and budget, we were ready to go. There was a great payment plan, which suited us perfectly. Daragh kept us up to date with everything we needed to know in order to prepare for our journey. He was on hand to answer any questions and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The communication with Daragh was excellent. And then came the trip itself. Well…. we were completely blown away with the whole experience! Words cannot describe how wonderful it all was. Everything ran like clockwork - the transfers, pick-ups, guides, staff, accommodation, food. There were a few challenges along the way, as you would expect when you are out in the bush, especially with the road conditions (i.e. a couple of punctures) but our guides were proficient at getting us back on the road as quickly as possible. Although we were incredibly well looked after, we still felt like intrepid explorers, able to experience the real Africa and not just a fake, sanitized, tourist show. Daragh pulled out all the stops, and more (with a few surprises) to give us the holiday of a lifetime! Thank you Daragh and the team from Tent With A View. Daragh Hanafin asked us what we wanted from our holiday and he delivered on every aspect of it. He took time to consider all the things we had asked for and checked everything through with us. Bali: 40th birthday trip We booked a 40th birthday trip to Bali through Daragh Hanafin. He was excellent! Went above and beyond to ensure everything was well handled, nothing was too much trouble, he answered all our questions and was genuinely friendly and caring too. We felt really looked after by Daragh. He selected two great hotels (one of which is the best we’ve ever stayed at!) and one fantastic excursion - which we enjoyed very much. I met Daragh Hanafin via my local business networking group at the beginning of the year and I instantly connected with him! It is my 25th wedding anniversary this year, so when my husband suggested we go on a special holiday I knew just the man to plan it for us. Daragh arranged a wonderful week’s break for us which exceeded our expectations. Two nights in Seville in a wonderful boutique hotel along with a booked tour and a flamenco show. Then onto a relaxing hotel in Conil. Everything went so smoothly with flights and transfers & both hotels were absolutely wonderful. We recently worked with Daragh to book a very complex last minute trip to America. In only a couple of days he helped to book flights, cars & hotels for a trip to 5 states in 1 week. Daragh, It has been a couple of weeks now since our dream holiday skiing ended but the memories are still fresh and wonderful.
