Thailand Adventure in Bangkok, Chaing Mai , Krabi and Phi Phi
4 centre holiday to Thailand
Thailand, one f the most incredible holidays we have ever done. Exploring 4 destinations.
In 2024 we had
our first epic trip to Thailand, a four centre trip exploring this amazing
Asian paradise.
First stop was Bangkok, which didn’t disappointWe visited Wat Pro, Golden temples, Lumpini park,
street food night markets in China town, river cruises, Icon Siam shopping
experience and explored Kannachabun seeing Erawan Waterfalls (and making it to
the top of all 7 levels on foot), Bridge Over River Kwai and Death Railway.
Each visit was so informative and offered impressive views of the areas.
The death railway was crazy. One minute walking on the railway then moving
to the edge to jump on the train. No health and safety there but what an
experience. The views brought me to tears, just stunning.
Our last night in Bangkok was spent on top of the Sky Bar as featured in
Hangover Part 2. You could see 360 views of the city up there.

Chiang Mai was next reached by a quick flight.
What a change. Quieter, yet bustling, a temple on every corner. Amazing
food! Night markets, Elephant Sanctuary and Cooking class on a farm.
Every experience just got better.
The elephants we saw had all been rescued and were able to
roam freely on the site, fed and looked after. Some having injuries from
previous tourism
The project provided jobs for the local villagers, and no you don’t get to
feed or bathe or ride them, but you do get to be close to and enable these
majestic creatures to live their lives in a safe environment.
The farm cooking class was fabulous. We went to a local market to source
the food and then cooked up a storm on the farm. Great experience.

Krabi was next, again a short flight, from where we booked a
private guide and did the 7-island tour on a longtail boat. Just beautiful. Our
Tour Guide Panja, and he was the best. This trip was the whole purpose of our 2 night short stay in Krabi.
We got to see Hong Islands, Chicken Island, Tup Island which is
a sand bar, Poda island (like a mini James Bond Island feeling to it), Railay
beach and Phra Nang cave and beach from where we watched the sunset on a most
perfect day. At Hong you climb 419 stairs but the view from the top is out of
this world.

Last stop Phi Phi and pure heaven for our last 6 nights in paradise.
We stayed at Zeavola (now Outrigger)
Here we chilled on white sands, visited Maya Bay (go early), Bamboo Island
(stunning), Monkey Island (stunning) and took a long tail boat to Tonsai
which is busy and full of back packing tourists but really cool for a couple of
hours.
A walk right along the beach took us to a local fishing village which was
full of local shops, restaurants and bars.

We fell in love with Thailand, the people are beautiful,
friendly and so happy to help. They say it's the land of smiles and this is so
true.
The food is incredible
Thailand stole a piece of my heart, and I can’t wait to go back
