This June, a group of Travel Counsellors embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combined sun-soaked moments, luxurious stays, and an unforgettable cruising experience. Hosted by Celebrity Cruises aboard the stunning Celebrity Reflection and with Hilton leading the way at the Diplomat Beach Resort, this trip was a celebration of connection, achievement, and exploration. With days that blended relaxation, discovery, and world-class dining, it wasn’t just a getaway – it was an opportunity to see travel at its best. Here’s a glimpse into the magic of this trip.

Setting the scene at The Diplomat Beach Resort

The trip began in dazzling style at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. Set between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, this oceanfront gem welcomed our Travel Counsellors with breathtaking views, striking architecture, and an air of relaxed sophistication. The Grand Atrium alone, with its towering glass design, set the tone for what was to come.

Whether it was lounging by the sparkling pools, indulging in a treatment at the renowned spa, or sipping cocktails at the terrace bar with views of the Atlantic Ocean, every moment felt like a celebration. At the welcome reception on the 33rd floor, Travel Counsellors reconnected over laughter and stories while soaking in panoramic coastal vistas. Donna captured the sentiment perfectly, saying, "From the moment we touched down in Miami, everything was seamless. It was the perfect start to our weekend."

Life aboard Celebrity Reflection

Soon, it was time to set sail aboard Celebrity Reflection, where a whole host of treats were waiting for our Travel Counsellors. The modern elegance of the design was complemented by unique spaces like The Lawn Club, a half-acre of real grass at sea, offering outdoor activities and open-air dining.

The culinary experiences on board were a highlight for everyone. The interactive delight of dining at Le Petit Chef, where animations brought the dishes to life, had everyone raving. Evening drinks at the Martini Bar became a cherished ritual, with the Lemon Drop Martini quickly dubbed a crowd favourite.

Discovering the charm of Key West

One of the most talked-about stops on the itinerary was the stunning island of Key West. Known for its laid-back lifestyle and eclectic charm, the destination delivered in every way. From local shops to quaint cafes, every corner radiated character. A group photo at the iconic Southernmost Point signified yet another shared memory in the making.

With free time to explore, some wandered down lively Duval Street, sampling the island’s famed conch fritters, while others took a moment to relax under the Florida sun. Donna highlighted the simplicity of the day, saying, "Key West was a standout for me. There’s so much character in the streets, and the pace of the island is wonderfully slow and charming."

On day five, the group made their way to CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island paradise, appropriately named Perfect Day. From crystal-clear waters to luxurious private cabanas, the setting lived up to its name.
