Roughly 25 minutes from Cancún Airport you’ll find Puerto Morelos. It's a small fishing village with a quieter pace than many other resorts close to Cancún, and The Fives Oceanfront suits that atmosphere well. A boutique hotel with a beachfront position, it has a selection of around 90 suites, the majority of which have ocean views, and they're all residence-style, so you'll have a proper living area, dining space, and fully equipped kitchen rather than just a standard hotel room. This works well for couples, solo travellers, and anyone who wants a smaller, more personal stay over a large resort experience. The hotel is technically open to families, but its calm, adult-focused atmosphere means it suits those looking to relax and slow down.

You'll find the RoMarley Beach House on the property - a beach club and restaurant inspired by Ro Marley, son of Bob Marley. The Sunday Fish Market is worth planning your visit around, too.
