Jumeirah’s resort experience is being reimagined in Dubai and the Maldives

A fresh chapter for Jumeirah’s Dubai resorts

Across Madinat Jumeirah, several of the resort’s best-known stays are being refreshed. The Beachfront Arabian Houses at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf are being renovated, bringing a new look to these secluded residences set around the resort’s waterways, while Jumeirah Al Qasr is enhancing its main pool and beachfront experience. Over at Jumeirah Al Naseem, rooms and suites are being refurbished, giving guests an updated base within easy reach of the Madinat Jumeirah restaurants and private beach, with views towards the Burj Al Arab. It means there are new reasons to return, whether the priority is a quieter beachfront stay or being right at the heart of one of Dubai’s most recognisable resort settings.

Families will also see plenty of changes at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, including an upgraded Club Lounge, an enhanced Kitchen Connection dining experience, and the reimagined Jumeirah Circle Kids’ Club, designed to give younger guests even more to enjoy during their stay. On Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is embarking on a phased refurbishment of all 311 rooms and 58 suites, alongside selected dining venues. The first transformed spaces are due to welcome guests from 16th November 2026, adding a new chapter to a resort already known for its Ottoman-inspired interiors, private beach, and setting on the Palm’s West Crescent.

Enhanced island living at Jumeirah Olhahali Island

In the Maldives, Jumeirah Olhahali Island is introducing a new look to its One-Bedroom Ocean, Lagoon, and Grand Lagoon Villas along the West Jetty. The redesigned spaces make the most of their setting, with warm neutral interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a skylight above the living area bringing daylight right through the villa. A clever Pivot Wall allows the bedroom and living space to be opened into one larger area or separated for privacy, while a queen-size sofa bed gives families and guests travelling together more flexibility. Handmade Moroccan tiles, handwoven rattan, bedside pieces inspired by the traditional Maldivian Boduberu drum, and original artwork depicting island life add character without distracting from the Indian Ocean just beyond the windows.

Outside, each West Jetty villa makes full use of its overwater position, with a seven-metre infinity pool, a sunken lounge, and uninterrupted ocean views. Head upstairs, and the private rooftop terrace adds another dimension to the stay, transforming into an intimate dining setting or even an open-air cinema beneath the Maldivian night sky. It’s a more personal take on resort luxury, with spaces that can shift between family time, quiet afternoons by the water, and memorable evenings together. Combined with Jumeirah Olhahali Island’s contemporary approach to Maldivian island life, the redesigned villas make an already special Indian Ocean escape feel even more considered.
