Hello! I’m Lisa, your personal Travel Counsellor based in Bourne, Lincolnshire.
I’ve got 11 years of experience in the travel industry, starting out at Thomas Cook back in 2007, before returning in 2016 and eventually making the move to Travel Counsellors.
I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else. I love holidays, I love talking about holidays, and most of all, I love helping people find the right one!
I’m also a mum of three, so I know that everyone’s idea of a perfect holiday can be very different. Sometimes it’s a week in the sunshine with a pool, a beach and absolutely nothing to organise. Other times it’s exploring somewhere completely new, ticking something off the bucket list or celebrating a really special occasion.
And that’s exactly what I love about my job. No two customers are the same, and neither are their holidays.
What can I arrange?
Pretty much anything travel-related!
Family all-inclusives, couples’ escapes, city breaks, cruises, honeymoons, ski holidays, safaris, long-haul adventures and tailor-made itineraries that combine several destinations into one incredible trip.
I particularly enjoy putting together honeymoons, safaris and multi-centre holidays, but I’m just as happy finding you a brilliant deal on a week in Spain. You don’t need an enormous budget or an elaborate itinerary to book with me.
Why book with me?
After years in the industry, I’ve learnt that finding a good holiday isn’t always about choosing the hotel with the most stars or the prettiest photographs.
It’s about finding somewhere that actually suits you.
That might mean a family hotel with separate sleeping areas and plenty to entertain the children, a romantic little boutique hotel in just the right location, or putting together flights, hotels and experiences across three different countries.
I’ll take the time to get to know what you’re looking for, talk through your ideas and help you narrow down the options. I’ll be honest about what I think will work and what might not, because I’d much rather find you the right holiday than simply sell you the first one that comes along.
And once you’ve booked, I’m still here. From passport questions and airport arrangements to those last-minute worries before you travel, you’ll have someone you know looking after your booking, with the additional support of Travel Counsellors behind us.
